4th of July Stimulus Payments 2025 - July 2025 Full Payment Schedule

As we enter July, many Americans are wondering if they will receive a fourth federal stimulus check to help ease the rising costs of living. While many citizens hope for additional financial assistance, the reality is that no new large-scale federal stimulus checks will be sent in July.

However, millions of Americans will still receive significant payments through existing programs. Here’s everything you need to know about stimulus payments in July 2025.

Will There Be a Fourth Federal Stimulus Check?

The short answer is no—there will not be a fourth federal stimulus check in July 2025. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has confirmed that a new round of Economic Impact Payments, often referred to as stimulus checks, has not been approved. The previous three rounds of payments, issued in 2020 and 2021, have concluded. Additionally, the deadline for claiming missing payments through the Recovery Rebate Credit expired in April 2025.

IRS Adjustments to Previous Payments

While a fourth stimulus check is not on the horizon, the IRS has conducted internal reviews and some taxpayers who missed previous payments may have seen deposits in May or June 2025. These payments, however, are not new stimulus checks—they are adjustments for previous payments that were not received.

Stimulus Payments Before July 4

For those wondering if any stimulus payments will be sent before July 4, the only one to be aware of is the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) payment. SSI beneficiaries will receive their monthly payment on July 1, 2025, as per the usual schedule.

Other Stimulus Payments in July 2025

Even though there will be no new federal stimulus checks, there are other important payments to look out for in July 2025:

Social Security Payments

Social Security benefit payments are made throughout the month based on the beneficiary’s date of birth. Here are the key dates for July 2025:

  • Wednesday, July 9: For those born between the 1st and the 10th of the month.
  • Wednesday, July 16: For those born between the 11th and 20th of the month.
  • Wednesday, July 23: For those born between the 21st and 31st of the month.

IRS Tax Refunds

Taxpayers who filed their paper returns between May 16 and May 31, 2025, could expect to receive their refunds between July 11 and July 25. These refunds will not be new stimulus checks but are part of the usual tax return process.

How to Check If You’re Eligible for Stimulus Payments

To find out if you’re eligible for any payments or if you are due for a refund, here are the steps you should take:

  • Check your IRS online account: You can track the status of any past payments or refunds.
  • Check your state’s Department of Revenue website: Some states are running their own stimulus programs, and you can find specific details there.
  • Stay alert to official communications: The IRS and other agencies will inform you directly about any payments or benefits you may be eligible for.

While there will be no new large-scale federal stimulus checks in July 2025, various payments will still be made, including Social Security benefits, IRS tax refunds, and SSI payments. For those who missed previous payments, the IRS is still making adjustments, but these are not new stimulus checks. Stay informed through the IRS and your state’s revenue website to ensure you don’t miss out on any available payments.

  1. What happen that we haven’t gotten any of them. They claim it was a card and we had to call in to get them But when we called it was on insurance cards thru Medicare. So it was a scam times are hard and we need a Stimulus check to get to help us get by. It takes everything we get on Social Security to get by each month.

  4. Why can’t social security monthly payments be made in a dollar amount instead of percentage amount. Everyone gets what they made when they sign up. Now we get a cost of living raise each year and it should be the same for everyone. That way it’s fair because the cost of living is the same for everyone gas electricity and heating.
